Job summary

Action for Children in Glasgow is seeking an Employment Facilitator to join a new delivery team within the Employability Service. You will work one-to-one with young people, assessing strengths and barriers, delivering tailored sessions and outcome-focused plans to help them enter the labour market.

You will design and deliver employability sessions, reviewing progress and providing consistent support to keep learners motivated.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience working with young people in group settings.
• Ability to engage young people and support progress toward employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored employability sessions and action plans with young people.
• Manage a caseload and provide one-to-one support toward labour market outcomes.
• Coordinate with partners and employers to create work placements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with standards.
