Job summary

CXK in East Sussex is recruiting a part-time Youth Programmes Assistant to support the design and delivery of engaging 12 week youth programmes across community venues. You will work with the Youth Coach to help disengaged young people progress toward education, training or employment and to promote workplace opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with disengaged young people is desirable.
• Understanding of safeguarding and working with risk is important.
• DBS check (Enhanced) will be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Youth Coach in delivering information, advice, guidance and mentoring to unemployed young people.
• Assist in delivering a 12-week face-to-face programme to help progression into education, training or employment.
• Work creatively in group or one-to-one settings and engage with employers and community opportunities.
