Job summary

CXK Hastings is seeking a dedicated youth worker to recruit, induct and support Youth Leaders and Ambassadors across the Pathways for Progression programme. You will deliver one-to-one and group sessions to empower young people to progress into education, employment or training.

The role involves on-site work at CXK Hastings, with some community-based activities and a commitment to safeguarding and high-quality youth engagement. DBS enhanced clearance will be required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, induct and support Youth Leaders and Youth Ambassadors to participate safely and confidently within Youth Working Groups.
• Deliver 121 and group work creatively to help young people be ready for education, employment or training.
• Facilitate Youth Working Groups and support Youth Leaders to co-design and lead project activities.
• Provide opportunities for young people to influence employers, education providers and decision-makers.
• Manage a caseload of young people with one-to-one support throughout their journey.
