Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a committed Support Worker to provide high quality, person centered support to a young individual with complex care needs in a Worcester residential setting. The role involves 36-48 hours weekly, day and night shifts, and a competitive annual salary.

You will work within a leading children’s healthcare provider network with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working in a similar role and setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for building trusting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
• Support with behaviours that may challenge, following care plans and positive behaviour support approaches.
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
