Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking dedicated Youth Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with SEND and SEMH in school settings across the UK. The role focuses on building relationships, promoting engagement, and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children or young people, may have SEND/SEMH exposure, and should be confident and resilient. A full UK driving licence is preferred to support travel between schools.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or challenging behaviour is highly desirable
  • Confident, resilient, and able to build strong relationships
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
  • Looking for a full-time, long-term opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Building trusted relationships with pupils who may struggle in traditional education settings
  • Encouraging engagement in lessons and school activities
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor
  • Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
