Salary: 95 - 110 per day

We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Andover, supporting children in Reception (Year R). This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone passionate about early years education and supporting young learners with a range of needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to Reception pupils, helping them settle into school routines and access learning
  • Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning activities
  • Support children with social, emotional, and communication development
  • Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
  • Assist with personal care and sensory needs where required
Requirements
  • Experience working with early years or Reception-aged children
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of EYFS framework and child development
