Job summary

First for Education are seeking a Year 6 Teacher for a Primary School on the outskirts of Kidderminster. This short-term position runs until October half-term, offering a supportive, well-structured environment and a focus on pupil progress.

The role requires QTS, UK primary school experience (ideally upper KS2), strong knowledge of the curriculum, and a proactive, safeguarding-focused approach with DBS updated service or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

Primary School Teacher

First for Education are seeking a Year 6 Teacher for a Primary School on the outskirts of Kidderminster. This is a short-term position, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching within a supportive and well-structured school environment until October half-term at the first instance.

The school has a strong focus on pupil progress and inclusive learning, with a collaborative staff team and a positive learning culture, making it an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking to develop their practice in a supportive setting.

Primary Teacher role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting and ideally in upper Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
