Job summary

First for Education are seeking a Year 6 Teacher for a Primary School on the outskirts of Kidderminster. This is a short-term position, running until October half-term and offering a chance to deliver high-quality teaching within a supportive, well-structured school environment.

The role requires QTS and UK primary experience, preferably in upper KS2, with a strong focus on the curriculum, differentiated lessons, and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally upper KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the primary curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and track pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Manage behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Collaborate with colleagues, SENCO and leadership.
• Support safeguarding and wellbeing across the class.
