Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a small one-form-entry primary school in Wythenshawe, rated Good by Ofsted. This full‑time, long‑term role starts September and involves teaching Year 3, delivering engaging lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum, and maintaining positive pupil progress.

You will hold QTS (ECTs welcome), have UK primary teaching experience, strong classroom management, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within a UK Primary School.
  • Sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons for Year 3.
  • Monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching to meet needs.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively.

Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Wythenshawe
Start Date: September
Salary: £170 - £250 per day

Are you a passionate Primary Teacher who can create a positive and supportive learning environment?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely, small one-form-entry Primary School based in Wythenshawe, which has been awarded a 'Good' OFSTED rating. The school provides a welcoming environment where staff can build strong relationships with pupils and support their individual development.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September, teaching a Year 3 class. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum, managing classroom behaviour and supporting pupils to make positive academic progress.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

  • QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

  • Experience teaching within a UK Primary School

  • Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 / KS2 curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
