About the role

Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to work with one of our partner schools based in LS18. This is a full time role and you must have experience of supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting.

This full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:15am until 3:45pm, working a dual role of general TA in Year 3 while also helping out where needed with intervention groups. This role will commence October 2025 and will be on going with a potential to move onto a perm contract with the school after a 12 week period.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 2 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning and SEND experience would be desirable to the role. You will be working within small groups as well as generically within a class, so a pro active, enthusiastic individual is required.

This primary school is looking for a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Head Teacher and leadership team are dedicated to providing and outstanding level of education to the children within the school. The school is friendly and welcoming and has a positive ethos.

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
