Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Rugeley. You will support a Year 3 class with a focus on creating a safe, engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate has KS2 experience and will support pupils through 1:1 and small-group interventions. The role runs from October 2026 to April 2027, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a possible temp-to-perm path and a competitive daily rate of up to £100.

Qualifications

• KS2 curriculum knowledge is required.
• Experience as teaching assistant or learning support assistant in a primary setting is essential.
• Experience delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher to maintain a safe, engaging and positive learning environment in Year 3.
• Provide pupils with learning and development support through targeted interventions.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of interventions and monitor pupil progress.
