Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School in Atherstone, providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for KS2 pupils with SEMH and other learning needs. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to foster confidence, resilience, and positive relationships with learning.

This full-time role (08:30–15:30, Monday–Friday) starts as soon as possible and runs until the end of the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Commitment to pupil wellbeing and inclusive learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for KS2 pupils with SEMH and additional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to monitor progress.
• Support personal care or physical needs as required and promote a safe learning environment.
