Job summary

Flourish Education Ltd is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Burntwood. You will support the class teacher to maintain a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment in a Year 4 class, with experience in small-group and 1:1 interventions.

The role runs from now until February 2027, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Wednesday, with a temp-to-perm possibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Experience as Teaching Assistant or LSA in nurseries or primary schools.
• DBS check on Update Service or issued within last 12 months.
• Two excellent references required.
• Recent UK school-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Support class teacher to create a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Provide small-group and 1:1 interventions in core subjects.
• Assist Year 4 students and monitor progress.
• Attend training and safeguarding requirements.
