Job summary

Academics are sourcing a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for temporary roles in the Worksop area. The role involves supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, and reporting to the Class Teacher.

The ideal candidate will hold a Cache or NVQ Level 3 TA qualification with at least 6 months primary experience and be willing to undergo enhanced DBS checks. Excellent safeguarding is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Cache or NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• At least 6 months experience supporting in a primary class setting.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Class Teacher.
• Support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Work 1:1 with children with SEN.
• Monitor pupil progress.
• Adhere to behaviour and safeguarding policies.
