Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting KS2 Teachers to join our team and work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Walsall and surrounding areas. We offer day-to-day supply and long-term placements, providing the flexibility to choose the type of work that suits you.

As a KS2 Teacher you will teach across Years 3–6, deliver engaging lessons, follow pre-planned schemes for day-to-day supply, and plan for long-term placements.

Qualifications

• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Excellent knowledge of KS2 curriculum.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, flexible and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6).
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Plan and prepare lessons for long-term placements.

Flourish Education are currently recruiting for KS2 Teachers to join our team and work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Walsall and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities available for both day-to-day supply and long-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of work that suits you best.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply or the consistency of a long-term placement, working as a KS2 Teacher for Flourish Education gives you access to a range of opportunities. With day-to-day supply, there is no requirement to plan lessons or attend staff meetings, allowing you to focus on what you do best – teaching and supporting pupils in the classroom.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be expected to:

• Teach across Key Stage 2, including Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' learning and development
• Follow pre-planned lessons when working on a day-to-day supply basis
• Plan and prepare lessons for long-term placements where required
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations
• Work alongside Teaching Assistants to create a positive and safe learning environment
• Mark and assess pupils' work in line with school expectations
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

To be considered for this KS2 Teacher role, you will need:

• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
• A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A strong school reference from your recent employer
• A reliable, flexible and professional approach

Location:

We are recruiting for KS2 Teachers to work across primary schools in Walsall and the surrounding areas, including: Walsall, Bloxwich, Aldridge, Brownhills, Willenhall, Wednesbury, Darlaston and surrounding areas. Many of the schools we work with have excellent transport links and onsite parking.
