Job summary

CER Education Recruitment are working exclusively with a large primary school in the Darlington area to recruit a Year 2 Teacher for a start in October/November 2026. The role is full-time and initially until the Christmas break, with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Applications are welcome from experienced Year 2/ KS1 teachers and Newly-Qualified Teachers (ECTs). You will need UK teaching qualifications, proven KS1 classroom experience, and the ability to deliver

CER are working exclusively with a large primary school in the Darlington area that require a Primary Teacher for their Year 2 Provision, starting in October / November 2026. The role is full-time and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance, with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The school are open to applications from experienced practitioners, as well as Newly-Qualified Teacher - Early Careers Teacher (ECT's). To be considered for the position of Year 2 Teacher you must:

• Have experience teaching Year 2 or KS1
• Have experience working in UK schools
• Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
• Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
