Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Year 2 Teacher for a 3-day-per-week position, starting after the October half-term and continuing to the end of the academic year. The role focuses on delivering the KS1 curriculum with creativity and differentiation to accelerate pupil progress.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and be enthusiastic about Year 2 teaching, forming positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families while contributing to the wider school community. ECTs are welcome.

Year 2 Teacher - (3 Days per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a 3-day-per-week basis, starting after the October half-term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

The successful teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class and will be someone who is enthusiastic about the KS1 curriculum, enjoys delivering creative and engaging teaching and learning, and is committed to accelerating pupil progress. The school is looking for a teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils and contribute enthusiastically to the wider school community. The position is open to strong ECTs as well as more experienced teachers, with support available to help the successful candidate settle quickly into the school. This is also an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to secure a future permanent position. The school has previously appointed staff supplied through Tradewind Recruitment into permanent roles, giving the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to showcase their skills, classroom practice and contribution to the school ahead of potential future vacancies.
