Qualifications

• QTS and school-based teaching experience.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and behavioural needs.
• Patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupils facing difficulties in mainstream education.
• Flexible teaching approach and commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support pupils with SEND and behavioural needs in a specialist setting.
• Manage challenging behaviour with clear expectations and positive strategies.
• Create a safe, structured, nurturing classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to different abilities and learning styles.
• Build trusting relationships to encourage participation and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support pupils’ development.
