Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a SEND provision in Bedfordshire on an immediate start. You will deliver engaging lessons and support pupils with behavioural needs in a specialist educational setting.

Qualifications

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a SEND provision in Bedfordshire that is looking for a dedicated and resilient year 5 Teacher to join their team.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils who face barriers to mainstream education. Working with children and young people with behavioural needs, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in their education, building positive relationships and helping them re-engage with learning.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering engaging and adaptable lessons

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a school with experience supporting children with behavioural needs and SEND being essential


• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Is confident managing challenging behaviour and maintaining clear, consistent boundaries


• Is patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupils who may have had difficult experiences of education


• Can adapt their teaching style to engage pupils with diverse learning needs


• Works well as part of a team while using their own initiative
