Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in the United Kingdom is seeking a Yard Team Member to support day-to-day yard and store operations. This is a hands-on role focused on safety, organisation and delivering great service to members and customers.

You will assist the Stock Supervisor, handle stock, assist with POS when needed, and keep external areas well presented. A forklift licence is advantageous, and experience in yard, warehouse, or retail helps.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment preferred.
• Familiarity with agricultural settings beneficial.
• Forklift licence advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Good IT skills and confidence using systems.
• Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard.
• Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently.
• Supporting Point of Sale operations when required.
• Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation.
• Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews.
• Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity.
• Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations.

Job description

We’re looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-Time

Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours per week, will include working every other weekend

As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You’ll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
