Mole Valley Farmers in Yeovil is seeking a part-time Yard Team Member to support day-to-day yard and store operations. You will help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while collaborating with colleagues across the business.

You will contribute to stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas, reporting to the Stock Supervisor and team to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial).
• A forklift truck licence (advantageous).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Good IT skills and confidence using systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard.
• Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently.
• Supporting Point of Sale operations when required.
• Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation.
• Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews.
• Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity.
• Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations.

Description

We're looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you'll help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 16 Hours per week, working 2 out of 7 days

As a Yard Team Member, you'll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You'll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.

• Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
