Job summary

Florette, part of Agrial Fresh Produce, is recruiting a Yard Operative for our Lichfield site. The role focuses on maintaining site hygiene and cleanliness, including removal of rubbish around the grounds and site boundaries.

Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 6pm, paying £13.99 per hour. FLT skills and Food Safety qualifications are valued, with health and safety compliance a must. Various employee benefits are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Basic written and spoken English.
• Food safety qualification required.
• Flexible approach to work and hours.
• Must adhere to Health and Safety requirements.
• Must hold a valid FLT Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas outside the factory but within the site boundaries free from rubbish.
• Maintain the compactors and skips that are working correctly and free from build up around them.
• Smoke shelter is maintained to a high standard to be free of rubbish or cigarettes with the emptying of the bins as and when required.
• Support stores and intake with FLT skills.
• Highlight any food or people safety issues to your manager from around the site.
