Job summary

Based in Bridgwater, you will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00, with a pay rate of £12.37 per hour. We offer training, 25 days holiday, and a company pension, in a fast-paced environment that prioritises safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or food production hygiene roles (preferred).
• Knowledge of health & safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep external yard areas clean and hazard-free, including washing bays and designated zones.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pressure washers, hoses).
• Carry out litter picking and waste removal promptly.
• Complete daily safety walks and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Record cleaning activities and communicate concerns to the Shift Lead.

YardOperative to join our team and help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our site. This role is vital to ensuring food safety, health & safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Location: Bridgwater - TA6 6DF

Contract Type: Full time - Permanent (39 hours per week)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00

Salary: £12.37 per hour(Overtime rate 1.5 x base rate)
