Job summary

Jewson in Stockport is looking for a Yard Sales Advisor to join our branch team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:30am–16:30pm, with every other Saturday 08:00am–12:00pm.

You will assist customers, manage yard and shop floor standards, and help with loading/unloading vehicles, using a forklift with training provided. We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Advisor in our thriving Stockport branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am – 16:30pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00am - 12:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
