Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is recruiting a part-time Yard Sales Advisor for our Torquay branch. You will greet customers, assess needs and deliver efficient service across yard and shop floors, in a busy environment.

Shifts are 27 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings. You may assist with loading vehicles and restocking while developing product knowledge and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and perform duties like offloading, picking, packing and restocking.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
• Continuously learn core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Loading/unloading vehicles, including forklift with training provided.

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Sales Advisor to join our friendly branch, in Torquay ( TQ1 4AS )

Working Hours

This is a part-time position working 27 hours per week , Monday to Friday. We offer flexibility around start times, with shifts beginning between 7:00am and 9:00am.

There is also the opportunity to work every other Saturday, from 08:00-12:00.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service

• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles

• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required

• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
