Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Yard Sales Advisor for the Busby (G76 8SE) branch. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, with every other Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm. You will assist customers, maintain yard/shop floor standards, and support sales initiatives.

Loading/unloading and forklift training are provided. You’ll be part of a team that values decency, enthusiasm, and pride in serving customers and growing Live accounts.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Advisor in our thriving Busby (G76 8SE) branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
