Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Yard Assistant/ Relief LGV Driver to join our Branch in Crewkerne. Within this role you will primarily be working outside in the yard, assisting customers, picking products and loading them onto the lorries and van for deliveries, as well as unloading supplier lorries and moving product to their locations in the yard. As part of this role, you will also be the branch's relief LGV Driver, providing cover when our regular drivers are absent from the branch. You will deliver the highest levels of service and guarantee Health and Safety compliance, ensuring you remain sales and results driven. You will be the friendly face of the business, offering customers great service whilst ensuring they are served and loaded, that their requirements are met and that they are well supported. You will also be required to offload and check in goods delivered from our suppliers.
