Job summary

Teaching Personnel seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a South Liverpool primary school. The role focuses on aiding learning, engagement, and safe participation throughout the day.

The position is long-term and full-time, with training and CPD provided and ongoing consultant support to maximise impact for the child.

Qualifications

• Previous medical experience is essential.
• Experience working with primary-aged children is highly desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

The Role

• Encouraging the child's independence, confidence, and social development

Requirements

• Previous medical experience is essential, ideally supporting children in a healthcare, educational, or care setting
• Experience working with primary-aged children is highly desirable
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans and medical guidance accurately
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
