Job summary

Teaching Personnel in the Longridge area (PR3) is recruiting a full-time Year 4 Teaching Assistant to start in November 2026. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:45am–3:15pm, supporting a KS2 class in a welcoming primary school and helping pupils access the curriculum.

This long-term role offers ongoing consultant support and potential progression to a temporary-to-permanent contract for the right candidate, with competitive hourly pay of £14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Ability to support learning across English, Maths and other subjects.
• Positive, patient and proactive approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and activities.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity within Key Stage 2?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school near Longridge (PR3) for a full-time Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2026. This is a long-term position with the potential to progress into a temporary-to-permanent contract for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established Year 4 classroom, supporting pupils both academically and socially while helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant position within a Year 4 class
