A valuable opportunity to join a leading water management company that offers professional water treatment and hygiene services across the UK. We are recruiting a tenacious, commercially focused Water Treatment Sales/Account Manager based in and around the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and developing new and existing steam boiler, closed‑system and cooling tower accounts, as well as a strong technical knowledge of the water treatment industry. Applications from Paisley, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • The individual must come from a solid educational, management, accounts, sales, and business development background.
  • A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
  • Experience managing a varied portfolio of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed‑system accounts.
  • Previous experience in a water treatment sales role is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence with the Microsoft Office suite.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of water treatment accounts, including cooling towers, steam boilers and closed‑system accounts.
  • Conduct analysis of water treatment processes to ensure programmes are compliant with current guidelines and fit for purpose.
  • Leverage existing customer base to secure, manage and develop key accounts, cross‑selling services while maintaining existing ones.
  • Manage staff and build strong working relationships with clients.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations.
  • Meet targets and achieve sales goals.
  • Address issues promptly and effectively.
  • Attend meetings as required.
