Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the workshop and office teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and general enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring information is up to date and easy to retrieve.
- Support scheduling and coordination of workshop-related tasks and activities.
- Assist with ordering and stock-related administration, ensuring appropriate levels of consumables and supplies.
- Handle basic document control, including filing, scanning, and maintaining organised records.
- Support compliance-focused administration by keeping relevant paperwork current and accessible.
- Monitor and respond to routine queries from internal teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Help maintain a tidy, well-structured office environment and support workshop-adjacent administrative needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong administrative experience, ideally within an office and/or workshop/maintenance process environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and maintaining accurate data.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure records and paperwork are correct and complete.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks.
- Good understanding of basic administrative processes such as filing, document control, and record keeping.
- Experience using office systems and databases to track information (training can be provided where needed).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable.
- Relevant administrative qualification (for example, an NVQ in Business Administration) is advantageous.
