Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Workshop Administrator in Lancaster to support the workshop team with administrative tasks, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating with departments.

Ideal candidates will have experience in administration, strong organisational and communication skills, and attention to detail in a team-focused manufacturing environment. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, on-site at Lancaster.

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the workshop team, maintaining documentation.

  • Serving as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting in monitoring stock levels and ensuring workshop supplies.
  • Compiling and maintaining records, reports and databases for workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the workshop team, ensuring all documentation and records are maintained accurately.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Managing appointments, scheduling maintenance activities, and coordinating with various departments to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Communication: Serving as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting in monitoring stock levels and managing supplies to ensure the workshop is always well-equipped.
  • Reporting: Compiling and maintaining records, reports, and databases as required to support workshop operations.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with team members and external contacts.
