Your Impact (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead and manage a team of fitters/technicians, including workload planning, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Perform hands‑on diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and maintenance on plant equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Coordinate workshop operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, workflow, equipment readiness, and accurate service records.
• Manage parts, tools, and consumable stock levels, including supplier communication and cost control.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and organised workshop.
• Oversee regulatory inspections (LOLER/PUWER) and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
• Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency, equipment reliability, and service quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
