Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Workshop Engineer in Wellingborough to service and repair a range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment in a workshop setting. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing FLTs, mobile plant and related machinery.

The ideal candidate has hands-on engineering experience in a workshop environment, with maintenance on forklift trucks or mobile plant and a recognised engineering qualification. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Workshop Engineer

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000 - £42,500
Shift: Monday to Friday - Days Shift.

Job Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a well-established and growing business specialising in Forklift Trucks (FLTs), Mobile Plant and Material Handling Equipment.
This is a workshop-based role, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Hands‑on engineering experience in a workshop or industrial engineering environment.

Requirements

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands‑on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements

• Engineering qualification of minimum Level 3.
