Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Workshop Engineer in Swanley, Kent to service, maintain and repair a range of forklift trucks, mobile plant and material handling equipment in a busy workshop.

This role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, plus a recognised engineering qualification. Monday to Friday shifts with overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering in a workshop/industrial setting.
• Maintenance experience with Forklift Trucks, mobile plant, HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3) required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment in the workshop.
• Work within a busy workshop environment facilitating repairs and servicing.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards while carrying out tasks.

Job Role

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a well‑established and growing business specialising in Forklift Trucks (FLTs), Mobile Plant and Material Handling Equipment. This is a workshop‑based role, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.

Essential Requirements

• Hands‑on engineering experience in a workshop or industrial engineering environment.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV’s or industrial Vehicles.
• Hands‑on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements

• Engineering qualification of minimum Level3.
