Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Swanley, Kent, seeks a Workshop Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment in a busy workshop.

You'll work on forklifts, mobile plant and material handling gear, with a hands-on role requiring recognised engineering qualifications and experience in a workshop or industrial setting; overtime opportunities and a company benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Desirable: Level 3 engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Work in a workshop environment with a focus on Forklift Trucks and Mobile Plant.

Job Title - Workshop Engineer

Location - Swanley, Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) OR £37,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours) + Overtime.

Shift: Monday to Friday - Days Shift.

Job Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a well-established and growing business specialising in Forklift Trucks (FLTs), Mobile Plant and Material Handling Equipment.

This is a workshop-based role, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Workshop Engineer.

• Hands-on engineering experience in a workshop or industrial engineering environment.

Essential requirements of Workshop Engineer.

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Workshop Engineer.

• Engineering qualification of minimum Level 3.
