Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Workshop Engineer in Swanley, Kent to service, maintain and repair a range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment in a workshop environment, including forklift trucks and mobile plant.

The role is 40-hr weeks with potential overtime; compensation ranges from £30,000 to £37,000 (or £37,000 to £42,500 with longer hours) plus overtime, and requires hands-on engineering experience and recognised qualifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in a workshop or industrial engineering environment (non-negotiable).
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles (essential).
• Hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.

Overview

Job Title: Workshop Engineer
Location: Swanley, Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (40 hours) or £37,000 - £42,500 (45 hours) + overtime
Shift: Monday to Friday – Days Shift

This is a workshop-based role, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment for forklift trucks (FLTs), mobile plant and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in a workshop environment.

Requirements

• Hands-on engineering experience in a workshop or industrial engineering environment (non-negotiable).
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles (essential).
• Hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable

• Engineering qualification of minimum Level 3.
