Job summary

Workshop Engineer role based in Wellingborough, with a commute-friendly location for those in Northampton, Kettering, St Neots, Bedford, Rushden, Raunds or Corby. You will work Monday to Friday days, maintaining and testing forklift and handling equipment, with modern facilities and ongoing training.

Salary starts at £35,000 with an OTE of up to £45,000, plus training, progression and overtime benefits. The role offers a clear path for technical development within a growing national business.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications and/or experience in a workshop environment.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Commutable to Wellingborough or local area.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, inspection and testing on access, material handling and forklift equipment.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics tasks involved.
• Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, on-site at local depot.

Workshop Engineer

Do you have Engineering qualifications and/or experience looking to join a National leader in the industry in a workshop position coupled with full Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic training?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable permanent role. You will be required to work on modern equipment, maintain a good work life balance and have clear progression within their business.

The company are a multi-million manufacturer of specialist Plant and Material Handling equipment supplying to leading facilities. This role is available due to internal growth plans.

This is a highly varied Monday - Friday days based role out of their modern, fully equipped and local depot. You will be based on site providing Service, Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on a range of Forklift machinery.

This role would suit a Plant, Mechanical or similar Engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi-skilled training and job a secure business.

The role.

• Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on Access, Material Handling, Forklift equipment.
• Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics involved.
• Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm).

The person.

• Plant, Forklift, REME, Material Handling, Vehicle background.
• Any Mechanical background welcomed.
• Commutable to Stafford.
