Job summary

Briggs Equipment Ltd in Lisburn is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our engineering team. You will service and maintain diesel, LPG, and electrical materials handling equipment, diagnose faults, and carry out planned maintenance.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, prior experience in a similar role, and the ability to work independently under pressure. We offer a competitive salary, contributory pension up to 6%, profit share, and health schemes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment.
• Fault finding, completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks.
• Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and Briggs Equipment policies.
• Completing job activity electronically and ensuring required parts to complete tasks are ordered.
• Maintaining and developing customer relationships through high standards of service.

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our supportive and friendly team in Lisburn.

We are keen to see CV's from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors; forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.

In this role you will be:

• Servicing and maintaining of diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment
• Fault finding, completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks
• Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
• Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
• Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
• Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service
