Job summary

Citygate Automotive is seeking a Workshop Controller to plan and co-ordinate workshop activity, maximising utilisation and profitability while managing Technicians. You will work closely with the General Manager to achieve quality and customer care objectives.

Applicants should have previous experience in a Workshop Controller role and strong managerial capabilities to drive efficient workshop performance across multiple brands and locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Workshop Controller.
• Strong managerial skills and ability to manage a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Qualify workshop requirements and plan work to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate the workshop to maximise utilisation and profitability.
• Manage technicians and liaise with the General Manager on quality and customer care.
• Schedule work to meet customer deadlines and monitor parts availability.
• Complete vehicle reports, MPI’s, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Coordinate vehicle preparation, sublets, and workshop communications.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional products/services and promote promotions.
