We have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Controller / Service Manager in the Poole area with a Commercial Automotive Garage.

As part of the team, you will be a key member at the heart of our operation. You will be required to run an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities. This is a very hands-on, exciting, busy, and challenging role.

The candidate must have:

• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines
• Experience working to KPIs, budgets, and meeting targets
• A proven track record of managing a team of staff
• Experience in the automotive industry is essential
• Proactive attitude, pride in your work, willingness to learn, and engagement with training and career development
• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Manager, or Service Manager is preferred
• Confidence and a strong understanding of workshop processes and team management
• Full driving license; any endorsements must be disclosed
• IT literacy; knowledge of Kerridge would be an advantage
• Good numerical and administrative skills with attention to detail for KPI accuracy
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the business and team

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
