Job summary

Donnelly Group, based at 59 Moy Road in Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead a Jaguar Land Rover workshop. You will manage the workload, allocate tasks to Technicians and support Service Advisors to optimise productivity and maintain high service standards.

The role requires 3–4 years in a franchised workshop with Master Technician level ideally and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified to Master Technician level with supervisory or workshop management experience.
• Must have at least 3-4 years experience, ideally within a franchised workshop.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and support Service Advisors with additional work requirements, costs and timings.
• Monitor repairs to ensure all work is completed correctly, efficiently and Right First Time.
• Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorisation where required.
• Support Technicians with complex technical issues, escalating where necessary.
• Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and any additional work identified.
• Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate, complete and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.
• Carry out quality control checks, including road tests where required.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensure completed vehicles are prepared and ready for customer collection.
