Job summary

Lookers Motor Group Limited, Preston Volkswagen, seeks an experienced Workshop Controller to lead the Aftersales team and drive daily workshop workloads. The role is based in Preston with brand-specific training to help you progress within the motor trade.

You will report to the Aftersales Manager, supervising Technicians and Apprentices, ensuring service and repair work meets targets and high customer satisfaction, while maintaining DVSA and OEM standards in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and prioritize workload to meet targets.
• Support Technicians and Apprentices, providing guidance and technical input as needed.
• Ensure all service work is completed correctly, on time, and to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers and provide support during repairs.
• Coordinate with other departments to deliver top-quality service to customers.
