Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Workshop Controller in Lancashire to lead the daily workshop operations and ensure service targets are met. You will coordinate technicians, maintain high customer service standards, and support managers to drive profitability and retention across sites.

Essentially, you will need strong communication, reliability, and industry knowledge, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver great experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Motor industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in a main dealer environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations.
• Ensure technicians meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Assist service managers to provide top service to customers.
• Achieve agreed profits and customer retention.
