Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Workshop Controller for our JLR Guildford site. You will manage the daily workshop operations, coordinate service and repair teams, and drive customer satisfaction while supporting service managers to deliver premium outcomes.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Experience in motor industry in a similar role is essential.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in a main dealer environment is desirable.
• Strong industry knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop.
• Ensure service and repair technicians meet daily targets.
• Assist service managers to deliver the best possible service to customers.
• Achieve agreed profits and retention levels.
