Job summary

Silcom Recruitment are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a well-established main-dealer franchise in Swindon. You will manage daily workshop jobs, coordinate Service, Parts and Workshop teams, and monitor progress to maximise efficiency.

The package includes a £35,000 base salary with a £40,000 OTE bonus. Hours are Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00, plus occasional 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:00–12:30 in a modern, supportive dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous experience as a Workshop Controller within the motor trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage and allocate daily workshop jobs to technicians efficiently.
• Ensure smooth communication between Service, Parts, and Workshop teams.
• Monitor job progress, quality, and completion times.
• Maximise workshop efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and compliance.
