Job summary

Listers Group Limited in Hull is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Porsche dealership. You will oversee workshop workflow, liaise between Service Advisors and Technicians, and drive productivity to meet brand standards and customer satisfaction.

Hours are 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota. The role includes leading a team of Technicians, monitoring KPI targets, and ensuring all work is completed on time with high quality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a workshop team in a dealership.
• Ability to liaise between service advisors and technicians.
• Strong understanding of service processes and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workflow of all jobs to brand standard.
• Lead a team of Technicians ensuring workflow is efficient.
• Provide focused management to the service department to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Ensure processes are always adhered to.
• Conduct regular process reviews with Aftersales Manager to identify issues and follow up.
• Manage workshop performance to achieve KPI targets.
• Plan workshop resources to fulfil work requirements.
• Support the department team and ensure timely completion.
• Assist with specifications and coding of non-standard jobs and obtain customer approval.
• Manage the handover of complex or potentially contentious jobs to ensure customer buy-in.
