Job summary

Stockport Kia, part of Lookers, is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead the workshop team and ensure efficient service delivery. You will supervise Technicians and Apprentices, prioritise daily workload, and strive for high customer satisfaction in a busy dealership environment.

The role reports to the Aftersales Manager and offers brand-specific training and clear progression within the motor trade. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Experienced Workshop Controller with ability to supervise technicians and apprentices.
• Ability to review and prioritise daily workload.
• Compliant with DVSA, health and safety and OEM policy.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running of the workshop to meet targets and service standards.
• Support Service Manager and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with manufacturers and provide technical support to technicians.
• Schedule work considering parts availability and job complexity.
