Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Workshop Controller to lead the aftersales workshop at the Retail Centre. You will manage the day-to-day workshop operations, supervise technicians, and ensure outstanding service for customers in person or on the phone.

You will work across both sites and brands, with leadership support to help you progress. Strong communication, organisation, and a customer‑focused mindset are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Motor industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience in a main dealer environment is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day running of the workshop.
• Ensuring the service and repair technicians achieve their daily targets.
• Assisting the service managers in ensuring the department provides the best possible service to the customers.
• Achieves agreed profits and retention levels.
