The role requires 1+ years in a workshop controller capacity and a full UK driving license. Main dealer background is highly beneficial, though independent background with 2+ years is acceptable.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as Workshop Controller.
• Full UK driving license.
• Main dealership experience is highly beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work efficiently among technicians to maximise workshop productivity and ensure timely & high-quality job completion.
• Monitor job progress, review job cards, and ensure accurate job timing for costing purposes.
• Manage warranty and additional work procedures, ensuring correct documentation and customer authorisations.
• Maintain agreed service levels and ensure the smooth daily running of the workshop.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Supervise and support workshop staff, providing leadership and addressing performance issues.
• Ensure workshop cleanliness, Health & Safety compliance and adherence to standards.
• Monitor and contribute to financial performance, supporting cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Continuously review and improve workshop operations and promote service excellence.
